Here and There We Go

It was then in that moment. It was then that I realized this felt like a dream. Each step and moment was a dream. It still feels like one, weeks and weeks after. You truly led my heart into feeling how at home I was in this new place thousands of miles away. I had always dreamt about going over to Europe, but due to certain circumstances, I never thought I would make it. That I did (and was sent home, but that is a whole other problem) and never realized what I would find thousands of miles away.

Roma, my love, I really wanted to reserve this exact time to thank you. You bring so much knowledge and spark into my life that I have never found before anywhere else. I have been exposed to an entire new viewpoint to how the world is so beautiful and how it was conquered so much alone. With times like these, it allowed me to personally grow and find beauty upon the heartbreak. I have found myself being a much more confident and stronger person in today’s society.

This exact spot I can remember the most out of all of them. That chilly night, Roma, you brought me something that I really was not looking for. It is the truth - anytime you are not looking for something, it ends up slapping you right across the face. Hold those moments and never let them run away. Cherish those moments because you never know when you will be there and the moment is lost so fast.
